These terms explain what you can expect from KnownBy and what we expect from you. We've kept them as plain as we can.
1Acceptance
By creating an account or using KnownBy (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2Your account
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
- Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@knownby.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
3Your content
You own everything you upload and everything generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for what you publish. AI-generated drafts may contain errors. Review every draft before approving it, and only upload material you have the right to use.
4Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service to mislead, impersonate others or misrepresent your experience.
- Don't upload unlawful, infringing or confidential material you're not permitted to share.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the Service.
- Follow the terms of any third-party platform you publish to, including LinkedIn.
5Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in the currency shown at checkout. Usage limits for each plan are listed on our pricing page.
You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Founding member pricing remains in place while your subscription stays active without interruption. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6Job matches and outcomes
Job listings come from public sources and may change or close without notice. Fit scores, gap analyses and progress metrics are guidance, not guarantees of interviews, offers or any particular outcome.
7Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or other users at risk, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
8Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, KnownBy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
